Norfolk Christian paper needs volunteer driver

The Good News for Norwich & Norfolk newspaper is looking for a volunteer distribution driver to help the long-established newspaper reach as many readers as possible, four times a year.

The role involves helping to ensure that nearly 7,000 copies of each paper promptly reach churches, bookshop and libraries across greater Norwich and nearby parts of Norfolk.

The quarterly distribution involves collecting the papers from the printers in Thorpe St Andrew, and delivering bundles to around 20 area contacts and churches in and around greater Norwich.

Each distribution takes around eight hours to complete and can be done over two days and can be split between two drivers if more convenient.

The papers will go into an average-sized hatchback or estate car and petrol expenses are available if required.

Knowledge of the city and the Christian community would be helpful and a current driving licence and access to a car is essential. You also need to be averagely fit to lift the 10kg bundles.

You are also invited to attend quarterly Good News team meetings.
If you share our vision to ensure that good news stories about the Norwich and Norfolk Christian community reach as wide an audience as possible and would like to find out more details, please contact editor Keith Morris on 07712 787762 or email for an initial chat by October 11.
