Christmas comes Alive at Norwich church's fun events

This Christmas, Alive Church in Norwich is planning two fun, festive community events including a musical production featuring songs from Beauty and the Beast on December 17 and a Santa Parade travelling down Nelson Street on Christmas Day.

AliveChurchProduction640In July, Alive Church in Norwich won 'Best Float' in the Lord Mayor’s Procession for their Beauty and the Beast inspired entry.  On Sunday, December 17 at 11am the church's award winning team will be singing songs from the Disney musical at the Alive Church Christmas production.
‘Tale as Old as Time’ is a free musical production for all ages and Alive Church hopes to welcome people from across the city and beyond. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
Then on Christmas Day from 10am Alive Church will bring some magic to the local community with a Santa Parade travelling along Nelson Street. Santa will be pulled on a sleigh setting off from the Dereham Road end of the street.
Pastor Phil Thorne from Alive Norwich said: “Father Christmas will be giving out gifts and his elves will be singing carols followed by mince pies and mulled wine at Alive House. Santa would love to see you! Alive Church wishes everyone a happy Christmas.”
Alive Church is located at Alive House, Nelson Street, Norwich, NR2 4DR. Parking is available in the Nelson First School on Armes Street
