Broadland hustings to help Christians decide
BroadGrace Church in the Broadland constituency village of Coltishall will be hosting a hustings event at 7:30pm on Thursday November 21, in preparation for next month’s General Election.
The format will be similar to Question Time on BBC Television. Questions can either be submitted beforehand to email@example.com or on the evening. Doors will open at 7pm with refreshments.
Three of the candidates - Jerome Mayhew (Conservative), Ben Goodwin (Liberal Democrat) and Jess Barnard (Labour) have all confirmed that they will be there, and all other candidates are being invited.
All are welcome to this public event, and the organisers are hoping that a good number of Christians from other churches will attend and submit questions to the candidates that are of particular interest to Christians, which might not get raised at a normal public hustings.
The event will be held at The River Rooms which is their building which BroadGrace Church shares with the coffee shop 'A Piece of Cake'. NR12 7DJ
