Fakenham Church invites Christmas tree applications

Fakenham Xmas trees 344Fakenham Parish Church is looking ahead to next Christmas, and is inviting applications from charities who wish to display a tree at the annual festival.

Fakenham’s renowned Christmas Tree Festival regularly draws crowds in excess of 20,000 from across the country. During the 16 years that the festival has been running, over £300,000 has been raised for the charities taking part. Last year around 70 charities took part.
This year's festival at Fakenham Parish Church will run from Thursday November 30 to Thursday December 7. There will also be a bazaar and Prayer Trees for regular prayers during the festival.
Application packs for charities wishing to take part will be available at a meeting in the church at 7.00 pm on Monday April 3.  Packs must be collected, as they cannot be sent by post or electronically. The closing date for applications is Thursday June 1.
