Time NorfolkTimeNorfolk seeks volunteer practitioners

TimeNorfolk are running a training course in 2022 for people interested in volunteering as a practitioner supporting the charity's clients.

TimeNorfolk exists to spread hope following pregnancy loss. They do this by offering time to listen, time to grieve and time to heal. The charity is holding a training course in 2022 and applications are now open.

You will need to be a qualified or trainee counsellor who has been assessed by their training body to be fit for practice.

The training explores grief theory, miscarriage, stillbirth, pregnancy choices, pregnancy after loss, termination of unplanned pregnancy and compassionate induction.

TimeNorfolk has a huge impact on the people it supports. One client said, "Gradually I went from having days where I curled up and couldn't move, to being able to have moments of joy again and feeling motivated and alive."

The training consists of six evening sessions beginning with one Saturday.

The dates are as follows:

  • Saturday 26th February 10am - 4pm
  • Thursday 3rd March 18.30 - 21.30
  • Thursday 10th March 18.30 - 21.30
  • Thursday 17th March 18.30 - 21.30
  • Thursday 24th March 18.30 - 21.30
