Norwich Diocese Mothers’ Union needs administrator
Mothers’ Union Norwich Diocese is looking for an experienced part-time administrator to work at the Mothers’ Union Office, Diocesan House, Easton, near Norwich.
Part time Administrator required to work 12 hours per week, divided as 4 hours on three days (days to be agreed)
Salary: £9 per hour
Fixed term for three years, possibility of extension, subject to funding.
Mothers’ Union Norwich Diocese is affiliated to the worldwide Mothers’ Union, a Christian charity whose aim is to support families and family life.
Through programmes, campaigning, community outreach and prayer Mothers’ Union promotes stable marriage and family life, working through local volunteer members to create lasting change. Members are driven by their faith but work with people of all faiths and none.
We are looking for an experienced administrator to work at the Mother’ Union Office at Diocesan House, 109 Dereham Road. Easton. Norwich. NR9 5ES, providing secretarial and administrative support for the activities of the charity.
* While restrictions due to Covid-19 are in place, it may be necessary to work from home.
Working closely with the Diocesan President, the successful person will have:
a good working knowledge of office procedures, effective communication and organisational skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office- Word, Excel, and the Internet;
the ability to work, largely self - directed, effectively prioritise workload and meet any deadlines set;
excellent verbal & written communication skills - ability to engage with a wide range of people.
the ability to work with others and to contribute within a team.
