Green Pastures Bookshop re-opens in Dereham

After nine weeks of closure due to the Covid-19 restrictions, Green Pastures Christian Bookshop, 20 Norwich Street, Dereham re-opened to the public today, Monday June 15.

Managers Irene Humphrey and Helen Cockburn comment, “After these past weeks on furlough, we are delighted to be welcoming customers again and to be able to provide the service so many people have valued over the years.

For those to whom a visit to the shop is not practicable just yet, we will also be happy to receive orders and enquiries over the phone. The Community Fridge and other activities in the area to the rear of the shop will remain closed until further notice.”

The shop has been reconfigured to be Covid-19 safe in line with Government guidelines. Hand sanitiser is being offered to customers on entering and only two customers are being allowed in at a time to preserve social distancing requirements. Contactless card payments are preferred.

Initial hours of business are 10am to 2pm; anyone travelling from a distance is advised to check first by calling 01362 697953. Further details are on the website www.greenpasturesdereham.org.uk
