Tales of the unexpected at Norfolk Christian centre
'Tales of the Unexpected' is a sequence of Saturday sessions at Christian venue The Pleasaunce in North Norfolk. The first is on February 22 and will include teaching, prayer and worship.
The themes of the sessions will include teaching and practice on listening to God, music and healing, contemplative prayer / worship, soaking music, plus using the above as a regular 'brain gym' to reset mind/body/spirit to God's 'factory settings' from which everyday life can divert us. Worship sessions will support the above elements
Lots of case studies from ministry in these areas will be given (these are the tales of the unexpected). Resources will be available for delegates to use in their own churches. Very special offer for the first session - £10 plus a retiring collection - including light lunch and refreshments morning and afternoon.
The leader will be Peter Shearer from All Saints Church, Mundesley who is informed on these topics by teaching from the International House of Prayer (Kansas City), a long-term Christian music mentor from the Paris Conservatoire, and 30 years of experience in the Christian Healing ministry.
