About Carl Chambers

Carl is married to Jenny with three children. After training at Oak Hill College, Carl served a curacy in Hove. Then he was asked to plant a ‘church for those who don’t go to church’ in Brighton by the Bishop of Chichester. Beginning with a dozen people, they focussed on word ministry and prayer, fellowship and evangelism.

In 2017, Carl was asked to help the process of revitalization of an independent church in Brighton. He is currently involved in various ministry projects whilst seeking a full-time parish ministry in the Church of England. Carl speaks Spanish and for 20 years has helped the church in Cuba, making many visits. He is founder of ‘Cuba para Cristo’, which brought Moore College Correspondence courses to over 3,000 Cubans, and training in biblical languages. Carl is a fan of Brighton & Hove Albion FC.
There will be an offering at each meeting to help cover expenses.

The event takes place at Christ Church Lowestoft, Whapload Road NR32 1XD
