Love the Street free outreach training day in Norwich

St Stephen's Church are offering you the opportunity to gain confidence, experience and training in sharing the gospel and praying for the sick on the streets by joining their ongoing ministry every Thursday starting with a free, practical training day with David Frederick on February 17.

Rev David Frederick, leader of Exeter’s ‘Love the Street’ church will be running a free day of training course on Supernatural Street Outreach at Norwich’s Old Hospital Chapel on Wessex Street on Saturday, February 17, 10.30am-3.30pm.
Nearly every week David sees people who he meets on the street encounter God through healing, the breaking of addictions, hearing from God and tangible experiences of His presence.

In recent months a team of people from different churches has been going out from St Stephen's in central Norwich every Thursday praying for people on the streets of the city.

Meeting at 10.30am for a time of worship, prayer and preparation led by Noel and Rachel Alexander of the Prophetic Lighthouse, the team go out in pairs at 11.30am until 12.45pm, returning to share testimonies of what the Lord has done.

Clare Melia from St Stephen’s Church said: “Every week is different.  Every week we have so much to report--all glory to Jesus.

“Many have had encounters with the Lord as we have prayed with them.  The Holy Spirit does his lovely work as we engage with people and you just know that some are going to take things further.

“Every week there are 'God incidents' and clear evidence of heavenly coordination of who we meet and pray for. It is very special as we experience God's favour and anointing.  We particularly pray for healing in Jesus' name and encourage people to connect with Jesus in a personal way.”

There is an open invitation to join the team even if it is just to watch.

The free training day will take place at Old Hospital Chapel, 41 Wessex Street, Norwich, NR2 2TJ. Please bring a packed lunch.
