Christian band LZ7 in Norfolk for youth event

Diss Baptist Church have partnered with Integrate Youth for Christ and DC3 Church to bring the energetic LZ7 band to Diss for a youth event on January 27 as part of their Illuminate Tour.

The event will take place on the 27th January at DC3 on Vinces Road in Diss, doors opening at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

LZ7 are a Christian Electronic Dance Music band who are “on a quest to perpetuate music that bypasses the intellect and speaks straight to the soul. with their infectious melodies, huge drops and back to back anthems, LZ7 knows how to rock a crowd”

Ben Mansfield from Diss Baptist Church, the driving force behind the event, says, "After I saw LZ7 at Big Church Day Out and CreationFest in Cornwall, they talked about their 'Illuminate' tour that they take around the UK.  Without hesitation I contacted them about coming to Diss.  They totally believe in what they do, their hearts and who they are, are there for all to see, and engage with their audience continuously throughout their shows.  Even if you may not be an EDM fan, this band know how to wake any crowd up, proclaiming the good news about Jesus in a dynamic and relevant way.  Be praying this band make a real impact in the lives of the young people of Diss and the surrounding area who need to know about a Saviour who loves them!"
Integrate Youth for Christ will also be using the event as a launching pad for Hope Revolution, the youth arm of Hope 2018. Young people will have the opportunity to find out about and sign up to Mission Academy Live.  Hope Revolution exists to see young people live a lifestyle that means making Jesus known is a natural part of everyday life and Mission Academy Live is a series of sessions designed to empower and equip young people to do so.
Steph Richardson, Centre Director of Integrate Youth for Christ, says, “We are excited to be able to support Diss Baptist Church in bringing this event to Diss.  It’s not often that we see a band with such a following in a small town like Diss and is a great opportunity for young people in a rural area to have an event aimed at them on their doorstep. We’ve been playing LZ7 music in our youth cafes and it’s the sort of music you can’t keep still to!  It should be a great evening!”
There will be a pre-gig meeting at 1.30pm at DC3 for youth leaders, church leaders and elders to meet the band and hear about their vision for school tours.
“LZ7 has kept a relevance and honesty about their music which comes from a heart that sees the best in young people. The band draw on experiences from their own lives which give the listener a deeper perspective of where they come from, what they are all about and where they are heading with their music.”
Tickets cost £3.50 in advance or £5 on the door and can be bought online at or phone Ben on 07968 778666.
