Share items in Norfolk's Christian community

sharesourceHaving the right resources can help with your general work and really lift your plans for an event. Organisations within Norfolk's Christian community willing to share their equipment have signed up to Sharesource.

There’s lots of gear out there for use in the Christian community in Norwich and Norfolk, for example, audio and visual equipment, items to use to create a prayer space or decorate a room, books and DVDs.
Howard Green and Pete Tyson have devised a way of finding out what is where and whom to ask if people would like to borrow something. The idea is to simply check an online document to search and find the items you would like to borrow and then to contact the organisation who owns the equipment to arrnage to borrow it.
Howard and Pete are also appealing to organisations willing to share their equipment to get in touch so they can list the items they have available to lend to people. It could be a set of Bible study books, sports kit or technical equipment - anything that might be of us to other people.

Pete said, "Let's use the internet for what it's good at: matching people's needs with others' resources for the good of all!"

It's easy!

If you see what you want on the list, look along the row to find the kind person who’s willing to lend

Give them a ring to sort out practicalities.

If you want to join the generous folk who are willing to lend, ring Pete on 07717 744630 or 01603 620678 and find out how.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
