Norwich finalist at national Christian awards

Christian Youth Work AwardLast month Norwich Christian youth project ENYP was invited to attend the National Christian Youth Work Awards ceremony in London as a finalist in the category of Most Innovative Youth Work Project.

ENYP was selected out of hundreds of organisations across the country, and came runners up, which is a huge achievement for the charity.  Danny Doran-Smith, Founder and Director of ENYP said; "To be recognised on a national level is incredibly humbling, my thanks goes out to all the team, staff, volunteers, partners, churches - and of course young people - who have worked so hard over the last 6 years".

Other awards included Volunteer of the Year, Best Youth Work Resource, Best Youth Work Employer and Youth Worker of the Year.

Finalists for all categories were invited to a special awards dinner at the London School of Theology where the work of the individuals and organisations was showcased.  The Awards are a joint project between 'We Love our Youth Worker' The National Charter for Church Youth Workers and the Youth Work Magazine, and they seek to find, celebrate and promote outstanding Christian youth work practice in the UK.
