Matthew (pictured right) has been a long-standing supporter of the Christian website through regular advertising. The site has, in return, promoted to its substantial local audience his professional services, which includes all areas of financial advice, but mainly advice to individuals and trustees on new and existing investments, investing for income at times of low interest rates, arranging new and reviewing existing pension plans and mitigating inheritance tax.
Matthew is also specifically licensed to advise individual 'self funders' in care and going into care, on the best ways to pay for their care.
As well as a business services directory entry
and banner advertising, Matthew offered to tithe a proportion of his remuneration on work gained through Network Norfolk
contacts to boost the website’s own finances.
And the arrangement has proved so successful that Matthew has just been able to present a cheque for over £1,300 to Network Norfolk because of several new clients and work which the website has brought to him during 2013.
Matthew said: “What excites me most is the potential that this media has to benefit everyone. Of course I want to succeed in business, but I have only ever wanted to do so the right way. The way that has Christian principles at the heart of everything I do, because these principles will always be of greater importance to me than the pounds alone. I hope the commitment I have pledged to help fund this website proves this to those who don't know me.
“I am delighted to work with Network Norfolk and because our adverts appear regularly, people have got used to my name and have turned to me when they needed a helping hand with financial matters.”
Website publisher, Keith Morris,
said: “It is through the support of businesses like Matthew’s that our website is able to continue its valuable work connecting the Norwich and Norfolk Christian community. Everybody benefits from such support; our readers who gain access to expert and trustworthy financial advice, Matthew who gains new clients and ourselves because of the funding we receive.
“If other local businesses are interested in a similar arrangement, I am more than happy to talk to them to the benefit of all parties and if you would like advice on any of the above financial areas, then please make contact with Matthew.”
