Norfolk to Zimbabwe Bibles plea re-launched

ZimBiblesWave350Around 300 Bibles are now in the hands of Zimbabwean Christians thanks to a partnership between Network Norfolk, Living Waters Pentecostal Fellowship and YMCA Norfolk. The plea was so well received that it is being re-launched - and anyone can get involved by donating.

Earlier this year an appeal requesting the donation of Bibles was launched on Network Norfolk. In May a consignment of around 300 donated bibles travelled from Norfolk to Zimbabwe for distribution.

Now the partnership is looking for more bible donations, which can, again, be dropped off at YMCA Central, in Norwich. Support is requested from individuals, churches and organisations.

TapiwaZim350Rev Tapiwa Kundoro, Pastor at Living Waters Pentecostal said, “I would like to thank all those in Norfolk who went out their way to make this idea a success, especially the churches and organisations that supported it.

"We thank YMCA’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Sweeting and his team in central Norwich for being a collection point. The bibles put a lot of smiles on people’s faces and are really helping to change people’s lives in Zimbabwe. Together we will continue to build on this. “

Drop-off bibles at: YMCA, John Drake House, 10 Winalls Yard, Norwich, NR1 3GX (beside the main bus station, between Surrey Street and Queens Road)
