Eaton church plans for Bishop's visit
The congregation of St Andrew’s Church, Eaton in Norwich is looking forward to spending the day with the Bishop of Norwich on Sunday April 28, as they share their activities, plans and hear him preach at their morning service.
On Sunday April 28 the Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Rev Graham James will preach at the 10 am service at St Andrew’s Church, Eaton and have lunch with the congregation after the service to get to know some of the staff and volunteers better.
Vicar of St Andrew’s, Rev Phil Rodd
says: “We are very pleased to welcome back Bishop Graham to St Andrew’s. He will be preaching at the service of Holy Communion at 10 am, and is then joining us for an informal lunch in St Andrew’s Church Hall. In the afternoon there will be time for him to meet those of us who have particular areas of responsibility in relation to the running and ministry of the church, including members of staff and our wardens, and find out more about our current activities and future plans.
“We always look forward to his visits, as he is so good getting alongside people. He understands what makes us tick, and has always been such a support and encouragement to us at St Andrew’s.”
