Wymondham crowd raises the roof for Raise Kids
The Raise Kids Work charity got a boost when 90 people gathered in Wymondham for an evening of comedy and cake with Preston funny man, Tony Vino. Andy Jones reports.
The room was filled with laughter from start to finish, it was certainly an evening that I think everybody needed after the last 18 months we've been through.
The evening was hosted by Raise Kids Work, a Christian Kids Work charity based in Wymondham that is excited to be able to go back into schools and churches again to present the Gospel in a number of creative and innovative ways.
The event raised over £500 to go towards the continuing work of the charity and was an opportunity for people to find out a little bit more about the work.
One person said about the evening: "If ever I’m fed up, I will watch the video I took of the Lion King scene with my husband plodding around - hilarious. You must get him back again sometime - such a funny man!"
