Nick Blanch discovers youthwork done different

Nick Blanch, Director of Norwich Youth for Christ, invites you to a digital showcase of Christian youthwork in times of pandemic.

Today has been a typical day. Well, typical in terms of the last 12 months. Because, of course, almost everything about my day has been different compared to how life was pre-pandemic.

I've been working from home most of the day, joined a prayer meeting over zoom, planned an online Bible study, posted some updates on our Discord server and tonight we will host our youth worship service on our YouTube channel followed by video chats with young people.

This is youthwork, done different.

It's been a challenging year for youthwork, and I could paint a bleak picture, but actually, I feel hopeful. Because it's also been a year of adapting and innovating. Of seeing new things come to be and new opportunities arise.

I'd love to tell you more, so let me invite you to our digital Showcase on March 25. Hosted live on our YouTube channel, we will share how, despite restrictions, we have continued to engage with young people and communicate God's love.

So pop it in your diary, (because, let's be honest, there's probably not much else in there) and be encouraged by what God is up to in this very different season of youthwork.

Once again, thank you for your support, we couldn't have managed the last year without you.
