Uganda charity appeals for schooling help

A charity founded in Norfolk that provides healthcare and education to vulnerable people in Uganda is appealing for funds to pay for schooling, as many families' incomes have been hit by covid.

Africa With Love we believes that every child in the world deserves an education especially during these times as we face an uncertain few months.

Liz Lansdowne, who works for the charity said, "Our children in years P7, S4 and S6, plus children from other schools sent to us by the Ugandan Government have returned to our school in Kyjubira village, Uganda to study for their exams. Many don't know how they will be able to pay for them due to families having no money because of the Covid situation."

They are appealing for financial help to enable these children to take their exams and give them hope. Liz reports that they are so happy to back in school where they feel safe and secure.

Please visit our website http://www.africawithlove.co.uk where you will find our fundraising page and information on our village.

Please give what you can to help us give these children the best chance in their education.
