Bags of half-term fun thanks to Norwich churches

Over 100 children in Norwich have been busy using Harvest activity packs including craft and cookery items over the half-term holiday, thanks to two local churches.

“The children’s Activity Packs that were prepared by Christ Church and St Andrew’s, Eaton in August instead of our usual Holiday Club proved to be very popular, prompting us to ask these families, and others, if they would like to have another for the Harvest half-term break,” said Vivien Humber.

“The response was overwhelming!  The families of 114 children asked for and received a Harvest pack with craft and cookery items with a Christian theme of thankfulness for God’s goodness and the wonders of the world around us.

“We are excited to have found such a wonderful way of providing local families with a resource they and their children are clearly valuing in this time of lockdown”.
