David Lloyd to speak at Holt worship celebration

“Growing the Garden” is the theme for an evening with Norwich vicar, Dave Lloyd, who will be speaking at the North Norfolk Filling Station meeting in Holt on February 24.

 
Dave Lloyd has been the Associate Vicar at St Thomas Church, Norwich since 2013. In 5 years St Thomas’ has expanded to three church sites across the city and also owns a pub! Dave lives next to one of the churches also known as the Sanctuary Coffee Stop, where they have regular jazz mornings and outreach events.

He is also chaplain for City College and site pastor for the Sanctuary.  Dave is currently planting a network of house churches in Norfolk after spending some time on sabbatical exploring different churches in the US and learning from leaders.
 
A founder trustee of the Norfolk based charity Street Child, which also founded the Sierra Leone Marathon which he has taken part in 7 times.
He loves playing jazz, sailing and spending time with his wife Anna, children Georgia and Zac and their crazy dog Poppy.

Filling Station - logo AREveryone is welcome for an evening of fellowship and worship followed by the main talk. There will also be a time for prayer ministry at the end. The evening starts at 7pm for coffee, cakes and chat, with the talk from around 7.30pm.
 
Using weekday evening ‘celebrations’ offering high quality speakers, contemporary sung worship and accessible prayer ministry, the North Norfolk Filling Station seeks to offer a further informal way of expressing the Christian faith.
