Eldred is new editor as Jenny moves to Wales

Network Norfolk has appointed new content editor Eldred Willey as long-serving editor Jenny Seal moves to a new life in South Wales.

West and Mid Norfolk content editor Jenny Seal has said goodbye to the website after eight years as she is moving with her husband, Baptist minister Rev Mark Fairweather-Tall and children Bethia and Grace, to South Wales, where Mark is set to become a Regional Minister.

Jenny has worked for Network Norfolk, the Good News for Norwich and Norfolk and, more recently, the new Life Stories project for around eight years. She was also responsible for the online diary of events. Jenny has been replaced in all these roles by Eldred Willey, an experience writer and editor and development worker, who lives in Norwich.

Jenny said: “I have loved hearing about God working powerfully in people's lives and writing about Christians sacrificially putting their faith into action in so many different ways. The church across Norwich and Norfolk is vibrant and active, and Network Norfolk plays an important role in getting the good news out about it to the Christian community and beyond. It has been my privilege to be part of that work.”

Website publisher, Keith Morris said: “Jenny has been an essential player in our work and the development of our various publishing channels over the past few years. She has written literally hundreds of stories about the Christian community across Norfolk and she will be very much missed.”

EldredWilley760Eldred, who attends Gateway Vineyard and St John’s Catholic Cathedral in Norwich, joins the website with a wide-range of experience writing and editing newspapers and books as well as roles with Christian Aid, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust.
Keith said: “We are really pleased to be able to welcome Eldred to the team with his wide-ranging experience and many contacts in the Christian community across Norfolk.

Eldred said: “For many years I've appreciated the way in which Network Norfolk has informed, encouraged and inspired the Christian community. It's a privilege to join a team which has such a unique vision for serving the Church in Norwich and Norfolk.”
