Evangelist at Good News day in Bury St Edmunds

One of the UK’s most experienced evangelists, Victor Jack, will be guest speaker at a Good News Day in East Anglia in March.

Editor Andrew Halloway said: “Good News Days are designed to encourage, advise and inspire current users of the national Good News newspaper (based in Nottingham), whilst also explaining the benefit of Good News outreach to Christians who haven’t previously used Good News. Outreach UK evangelists will also be speaking and available to chat and share ideas, and will explain the exciting new Casting Your Nets initiative.”

The Day will take place on Saturday March 30, from 10am to 4pm at West Road Church, 68 Queens Road, Bury St Edmonds IP33 3EW.
Victor, who is a member of the Good News Council of Reference, worked for the Counties mission in Suffolk for over 50 years as an evangelist and Bible teacher. He was on the Federal Board of Mission England and chaired the mission for Billy Graham at Portman Road in Ipswich, and served as chairman of the Garden Tomb Association in Jerusalem. His evangelistic booklet ‘Believe and Be Baptised’ has been published in over 70 languages.
The Good News Day is a free event and refreshments will be free of charge too, but lunch is not provided so if you plan to attend, please remember some sandwiches!
If you would like to come, please let organisers know your name and how many people you are bringing. Tel 01332 702742 or email:
Parking is available on the road opposite the church.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
