NorwichCathedralCityCentreCF60New members welcome at Norwich transformational revival group

A new season of ‘Transforming the Atmosphere’ meetings begins at the House of Prayer on Fishergate, Norwich, on Monday September 17 at 7.30pm. All are welcome.

This month’s open session follows a brief summer break from the meetings, but the group's strategic prayer ministry has continued in the background.

Rev Nigel Fox said, “We’ve been learning a huge amount in recent months, and ‘Transforming the Atmosphere’ is the best forum we have to share what we’ve learned in order to inform and equip the wider church.”

“Rather than continue digging for more historical detail and considering how that has impacted us, we will feature more time praying with a fresh focus upon major themes. We also hope to launch a project for those attending to take part in.”

“It would be great for more churches to join us in this ongoing ministry and, even if not joining us on Monday 17th, I would especially encourage leaders and their intercessors to work together in their churches, as we know this really provides a powerful strengthening.”

Transforming the Atmosphere continues to build upon the specialist teaching of Revd Dr Alistair Petrie (after his three visits in 2015, 2016 and 2017), and has developed a ministry that combines socio-historical research with informed prayer-walking and a continuing discipline of humbly seeking the Lord for fresh insight.

‘Transforming the Atmosphere’ will meet at the House of Prayer, on Fishergate, Norwich, NR3 1SE, on Monday 17th September at 7.30pm. All are most welcome to join in.

Further meetings are planned for the third Monday of the month: 15th October, 19th November, etc.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
