Norwich event explores the rule of St Benedict
Has your spiritual journey stalled? Is your prayer feeling a bit flabby? Do you have a sense that you are missing something on the journey to God? An event on June 2 will look at how the rule of St Benedict can help.
St Benedict wrote his Rule to found a “School for the Lord’s service” and it has been helping Christians to live their faith for nearly 1500 years.
Rev Canon Andrew Bryant said, "The wisdom within its few short pages has spoken to many cultures across those centuries. This day will look at the how we can find riches for 21st century faith: tools for encouraging prayer, exercises to stretch us and enlarge our image of God, patterns for authentic Christian living that question and confront some of the norms of society."
