Website launches closer partnership with paper

A new closer partnership between the Network Norfolk website and the long-established Christian tabloid newspaper Good News for Norwich & Norfolk has been launched to the benefit of readers and advertisers of both publications.

As the popular Christian community newspaper marks the 25th anniversary of its first edition, published at Christmas 1992, its team and finances have moved closer together with those of Network Norwich & Norfolk, which itself has been online for over 12 years.
Keith Morris, who is editor of the newspaper and publisher of the website, explained: “Our editorial teams have always worked closely together and everything you read in the newspaper will also appear on the website. Now we want to offer our advertisers the same benefits of reaching a larger audience in different media formats.
“Our advertisers can now run integrated advertising campaigns both online and in print and benefit from a discounted price for doing so.
“Bringing the finances of the two publications together also strengthens them both and will help ensure they can continue into the future,” said Keith.
“The purpose of both titles remains the same - to help find, write and spread good news stories about the people, churches and organisations which make up the Christian community across Norwich and Norfolk.”
The newspaper now prints and distributes around 17,000 copies four times a year and the website reaches around 12,000 different people every month.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
