CANCELLED - Filling Station meeting
Phil Whitehead will be the speaker at the North Norfolk Filling Station meeting in Swanton Novers later this month.
Phil became a Christian at the age of 17 years and was soon leading Christian Unions at both the colleges he attended. Following a short career as a school teacher he served as missionary in Nigeria, before becoming the 'Evangelism and Missions Director' at Kensington Temple, a large multi-racial church in Notting Hill Gate, part of the Elim denomination. From there he travelled to numerous nations, pioneering unreached people group projects into the Republic of Benin and Albania.
In 1998 Phil and his wife, Caroline, were invited to pastor the Chiswick Christina Centre, a vibrant, multi-racial church ministering both into the heart of the local community and across West London. Their ministry still takes them to many different nations. He recently authored the increasingly popular book, 'Thriving in the Grace of God’.
Tasha North, from North Norfolk Filling Station, said “Phil brings a richness drawn from his diverse ministry experiences and we are assured a lively evening.”
The Filling Station, which was born out of the Church of England in the West Country, has grown exponentially in terms of venues opening all over the United Kingdom and continues to serve and refresh both Church leaders, congregations and more importantly to open the eyes of those who are seeking answers to the meaning of life through the Christian faith. The Filling Station is helping to bring unity amongst believers from across the whole Church spectrum.
Everyone is welcome on Monday February 26 to an evening of fellowship and wonderful worship followed by the main talk, which will be entitled Stepping into your Prophetic Destiny. There will also be a time for prayer ministry at the end of the evening. Coffee and cakes will be available from 7pm, with the main meeting starting at 7.30pm.
The venue is Swanton Novers Village Hall, St Giles Road, Swanton Novers, Melton Constable, NR24 2RB.
