Norwich Christian youth team appeals for players

A youth team in the Norfolk Christian Football League has put out a plea for new players so that it can continue to fulfil its fixtures this season.

Heigham Park Eagles FC, which plays on Saturday mornings in the Under-16 Youth League, urgently need players who are aged 15 or 16, or in school years 10 or 11, to join their squad.

The team plays its home matches at St Francis of Assisi School on Jessop Road in Norwich and is sponsored by St Thomas Church in the city.

Last season Heigham Park Eagles won the Under-16 league and were runners-up in the cup final, but a number of players have now moved up an age bracket and the team has a new manager.

If you interested in joining the team, please contact manager, Paul Nice at niceclan@ntlworld.com
