Catholic clergy night enjoyed in Norwich

ClergyNightCFA Norfolk branch of the faith-based Catenian Association hosted their annual event for local clergy, attended by priests, family members and catholic laymen.

On the evening of Thursday November 13 at Park Farm, Hethersett, the Norwich Circle of the Catenian Association held its annual Clergy Night to which  representatives of the county's priests as well as widows of deceased Catenians are always invited.

The Norwich Circle of the Catenian Association is a local branch of an international body of Catholic laymen who meet at least once a month to enjoy each other’s company and strengthen their family life and faith through friendship.

The Clergy Night was well attended, with 61 people present comprising clergy, catenia and their wives. They enjoyed a simple 3 course meal followed by speeches from the president Philip Hoy and by one of the clergy.

The Circle meets on the last Friday of every month at the Norfolk Club, Upper King Street, Norwich at 7pm
