‘Great survivor’ speaks at Norwich dinner

TrevorBendrien2012: A business man who lost a fortune in China, but refused to be downcast so that he could continue to share his faith in many nations, was the guest speaker at an FGB dinner at the Brook Hotel, Bowthorpe, Norwich, on Friday, October 12.

Trevor Bendrien is an inspiring speaker from Halifax and a talented musician whose work has taken him around the world, including China, where he set up an engineering factory. Despite top level support from the UK, the project collapsed.

Trevor, married to Helen, is the son of a Polish-Prussian prisoner-of-war and an English mother, and is known today as a “great survivor” because he has overcome great difficulties in the business world and always bounced back.

His faith and positive attitude have sustained him to such an extent that he and his team were able to lead a major outreach programme in London during the recent Olympics. He is also a regional director of the Full Gospel Business Men.

The global fellowship has 8,000 local chapters spread across more than 100 countries.
