Pilgrimage into Mission conference at Norwich Cathedral

A conference hosted by the East Anglian Pilgrimage Network will be held in February next year and will look at using pilgrimage to share the good news of Jesus.


The international surge in popularity of pilgrimage creates significant opportunities in mission for local parishes.  Is your church along the route of an ancient pilgrimage or modern long-distance path?  Is it associated with a local saint or holy person, or was it the home of a local shrine or holy well?  Do you have treasures you long to share with others?  The combination of heritage and holiness is a powerful draw for contemporary people and provides an ideal context in which to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

The cost of the training day is £15.00 per person, to include a light lunch.

To book a place please contact Julia Jones on jjones@cathedral.org.uk or 01603 218448. If emailing please provide your phone number and parish or organisation, plus any dietary requirements.  Car parking is available nearby but also needs to be pre-booked.

Cheques can be made payable to ‘Norwich Cathedral’ and sent to: Norwich Cathedral Library, 65 The Close, Norwich, NR1 4DH.  Please note that registration and payment is required by Friday 19 January 2018.
