Norwich YFC wants young people for Christmas film

Norwich Youth For Christ is looking for young people to get involved in its Christmas film project following the success of last year’s project “Hunted” which received well over 2000 views on its YouTube channel.

NYFC is looking to produce a similar film this year. Its mobile recording studio, ‘Tracks’, will be involved in the project, giving young people the opportunity to use professional recording equipment as well as learning the process of film making.

Music Youth Worker Sarah Ballard said: “We had great fun with this project last year. The idea of basing it on the TV show Hunted came from the young people. They were involved in every aspect from planning to film crew, scripting, acting and editing. We had great fun and are excited to see what brilliant ideas the young people come up with this year!”

Nick Blanch, Director of Norwich Youth For Christ, said: “There was such a buzz about the film last year with re-tweets and compliments from some of the people involved in the Hunted TV series. This project is a great way to engage with young people and provides a creative, innovative way to share the Good news of the gospel”

The project begins on Wednesday October 4, 6-8pm at Sprowston Road Methodist Church.

All young people aged 10-18 are welcome.

You can watch last year’s film on NYFC’s YouTube channel.
