Norwich Cathedral service to mark baby loss
Local pregnancy loss charity TimeNorfolk are holding their annual Doorway of Hope Service at Norwich Cathedral on Thursday October 19 at 7.30pm to remember and support those who have lost babies.
TimeNorfolk supports people who have experienced pregnancy loss and past experience shows that the Doorway of Hope service can be an important part of the healing process after a loss. Many who have experienced loss have never had an opportunity to say goodbye and this service enables them to do just that. People can bring their friends and family with them to join them in remembering their little one.
All are invited to this service of remembrance for all who have lost a baby, however long ago, through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, termination or stillbirth, as well as during the early months of life.
During this time, there will be an opportunity to light a candle and write a message in TimeNorfolk’s book of remembrance as we remember our little ones.
Teas and Coffees are served after the service and a member of TimeNorfolk will be availble to talk to anyone affected by the loss of a baby.
This service is being organised jointly between Norwich Cathedral and TimeNorfolk
