East Anglia ministries fair at Norwich CofE cathedral

A lifesize cut-out of the Archbishop Justin will be visiting the the East Anglia Ministries Fair at Norwich's Anglican Cathedral on Saturday May 13.

The cut-out, designed by the Church of England’s CallWaiting initiative to encourage young vocations to ordained ministry, has appeared at careers fairs and vocation events around the country and been photographed thousands of times.

The Rev Canon David Foster, who is organising the Ministries Fair, said: "We believe everyone has something to contribute and a unique calling from God. Our idea is to help people imagine what that might be, and put them in touch with people who can help them live it out."

What is God calling you to? The East Anglia Ministries Fair will inspire you with ideas and possibilities, with stalls from national organisations and local mission groups such as;

  • Church Army
  • Franciscans
  • Parish Nursing
  • Christians Against Poverty
  • Open the Book
  • Scouts and Guides
  • City Saints in Action
  • Time Norfolk
  • Norfolk Street Partnership

Throughout the day there will be workshops and presentations, plus the Arts Stream featuring a singer-songwriter, performance poetry, and classical piano.

The Ministries Fair is at Norwich Anglican Cathedral on Saturday May 13, 10.30am – 3.30pm.
