Norwich Historic Churches Trust annual conference 

The Norwich Historic Churches Trust are holding their annual conference on October 14, which includes talks on 11 century churches in Norwich, post reformation wall painting and interiors and sculptors of the seventeenth century.

Four papers will be given at the conference:

  • Andy Shelley (PCA Heritage): The 11th-century Churches and Chapels of South Conesford, Norwich.


  • Dr Ellie Pridgeon (University of Leicester): Post-Reformation Wall-painting: the story so far.


  • John Bayliss, FSA: The Monumental Sculptors of late Seventeenth-century Norwich.


  • Trevor Cooper (Chair, the Ecclesiological Society): After the Reformation: Parish Church Interiors 1560-1640.
