Flower festival at Jessopp Road Church in Norwich

Over the weekend of June 10 and 11, Jessopp Road Church in Norwich will be holding a Flower Festival to celebrate significant anniversaries in people's lives and of the world.

For example 50 years ago Dr Christiaan Barnard carried out the first heart transplant, Stephen Hawkins was born 75 years ago and the Mary Rose was raised from the seabed 35 years ago as well as significant personal milestones in people's lives.

There will be approximately 30 different flower arrangements covering these events and more with 10 different charities represented.

Any money raised will go towards supporting Water Aid and the Vidiyal Trust.

Programmes will be available on the door and refreshments will be available throughout the weekend.
