Do join us for a "Come and Sing" Evensong at Christ Church, Eaton for Passiontide. Registration is from 4pm, with rehearsal 4.15pm - 5.15pm, followed by tea. The Community of All Hallows is an Anglican religious community situated in 22 acres of beautiful grounds, which makes it an ideal centre for retreats. This day retreat is led by resident clergy and provides preparation for Holy Week. It includes talks and silence to help you reflect on the meaning of the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The cost is £12.

The society’s Spring concert on the eve of Holy Week, Durufle Requiem, will feature the beautiful reflective music by Durufle and Poulenc. Works include: Maurice Duruflé – Requiem, Notre Père, Prélude et Fugue sur le nom d'Alain, and Francis Poulenc - Litanies à la Vierge Noire. The Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society will be conducted by David Ballard, and include Charli Andrews, Mezzo Soprano and Simon Mulligan, Baritone.

Workers in the City are invited to a lunchtime Easter service at St Andrew's Church (next to Cinema City). It will include a short 40-minute service followed by sausage rolls, cakes and other refreshments, fresh tea and coffee. Admission and refreshments are free. Start at Reedham Village Hall
The dramatic story of Easter is set to be acted out on the normally quiet streets of the East Norfolk village of Reedham on Good Friday, April 14, for the first time ever. A 100-strong team is behind the Passion Play which will be staged over five outdoor locations including a school and a farm.

Good Friday Before and After is an alternative Easter event. There will be songs, poetry, readings, prayer and a certain amount of interaction, though this is not obligatory. There will not be a sermon, but there will be plenty to think about. There may also be refreshments. Everything is free.
