Worship, friendship, coffee at Yarmouth Hope Night
Everyone is welcome to come along to an informal evening of lively worship and sharing at the Kings Centre coffee shop on Saturday February 25. Tony Rothe reports.
The evening is being organised by Great Yarmouth TLC inspired by the national HOPE movement which aims to bring local churches together in mission in order to see individuals and communities in villages, towns and cities throughout the UK transformed by Jesus’ love.
There will be an opportunity for people to share their personal story of their journey before and with Jesus and, of course, there will be refreshments.
HOPE models what mission can look like, working with Christians of all ages, ethnicities, worship styles, genders and theological perspectives – together achieving much more than can be achieved apart. This lines up with Jesus’ prayer that his followers would be ‘brought to complete unity’ so that the world will know about God and his love for humanity (John 17:23).
The evening starts at 7.30pm, with coffee from 7pm on Saturday February 25.
