Classical Reflection at North Norfolk churches

Two North Norfolk churches will be celebrating the Queen’s ninetieth birthday on June 11 by hosting the singing duo Classical Reflection from BBC TV’s The Voice. Tony Rothe reports.

Trimingham parish church will be raising funds for the upkeep of the church by holding a picnic in the church and its grounds from 1.30pm. Classical Reflection will be singing at 2.30pm thanks to the generous sponsoring of the event by Woodland Holiday Park. From 3.30pm local live musicians will entertain, with extra impromptu buskers welcome.

Visitors are asked to bring their own rug, chairs and picnic. Free tea/coffee and squash will be provided. Delicious desserts will be available for a small donation to church funds. There will also be garden games and a raffle which will include in its prizes tickets to the concert at Sheringham that evening.

Classical Reflection will also be singing at Lighthouse, 62 Cromer Road, Sheringham that evening from 7pm, where they will be joined by the tenor Sean Chriscole and the Broadland Youth Choir. Tickets available from Cromer Information centre or from Lighthouse reception.

Classical Reflection will return to Norfolk for the Last Night of the Proms in Blickling Park on Saturday August 13.
