Church leader & author to visit Swanton Novers
Dave Elverson will be encouraging people to think with the mind of Christ when he speaks at the next meeting of The Filling Station on Monday April 25.
Dave’s ‘day-job’ is working as a management consultant. With his wife Holly, both pictured above, they lead ‘Global Legacy’ in the East of England and are currently in the process of launching their own fellowship, 'Kingdom Life Church', in the south of Norwich. ‘Global Legacy’ is the relational network from Bill Johnson’s Bethel Church in Redding, California. Its aim is to support, encourage and connect church leaders who want to see revival happen.
Dave and Holly have two girls aged 11 and 5. He has recently had a book published, co-authored with Bethel leader Paul Manwaring, entitled: 'Creating a Culture of Overflow', which looks at how to create cultures to free people to live life to the full as Jesus intended.
Dave’s talk will focus on the way we think and how some of our habitual patterns of thought have such an impact on the way we view God, the way He thinks about us and the way we think about ourselves. This can either free us to live life to the full or constrain our ability to dream with God and see those dreams turn into reality.
The Filling Station, which was born out of the Church of England in the west country, has grown exponentially in terms of venues opening all over the United Kingdom and continues to serve and refresh both Church leaders, congregations and more importantly to open the eyes of those who are seeking answers to the meaning of life through the Christian faith. The Filling Station is helping to bring unity amongst believers from across the whole Church spectrum.
Everyone is welcome on Monday, April 25 at 7.00 for 7.30pm, with coffee, cake, chat, excellent worship, talk and prayer ministry at: Swanton Novers Village Hall, St Giles Road, Swanton Novers, Melton Constable, NR24 2RB.
