New Priest-in-Charge at West Norfolk churches

The parishes of Rougham, Weasenham and Wellingham are welcoming a new Priest-in-Charge on Monday November 24 2014.

stpetersweasenham450Changes to the Massingham Benefice have resulted in the three parishes of Harpley, Great Massingham and Little Massingham joining the Benefice of Gayton, and Revd Heather Berry appointed as Priest-in-Charge of the Rougham, Weasenham and Wellingham parishes.

Heather has served at St Faith’s Church Gaywood since being ordained in 2000. She is looking forward to the challenges facing her as she moves into this new position. “there are three small villages with four church buildings” she said, “with plenty of room for mission and the opportunity to build three parishes into a Benefice.”

All are welcome to come along and join Heather as she is licensed by the Bishop of Lynn and installed by the Archdeacon of Lynn, at 7pm on Monday November 24 2014 in St Peter’s Church, Weasenham.
