Open Day at Mid Norfolk Christian retirement home 

Quebec Hall, a retirement home for Christians in Dereham, is holding an Open Day on September 17 where visitors can explore the accommodation, enjoy afternoon tea and a Service of Thanksgiving.

Quebec Hall, a Christian Residential Care Home in Dereham is hosting an Open Day on Saturday, September 17, 3pm.

Mark Woodgett, General Manager said: “Visitors to the Open Day are welcome to explore the picturesque gardens and take the opportunity to look around the accommodation.  We will have a Service of Thanksgiving with recently retired minister Rev John Rose to remember, to
be thankful, and to celebrate God’s goodness and provision for all at Quebec Hall. A
nd we will enjoy afternoon tea in a large marquee in our peaceful and tranquil grounds.”

The historic Quebec Hall has been a Christian home for over 55 years. The management and staff aim to provide a caring, family atmosphere coupled with personal care and attention. Above all, they wish the Home to be one in which the love of God is readily apparent from the care shown.

The Hall has accommodation for 21 residents, as well as 43 retirement bungalows situated in the hall's grounds.  Some of the self-contained bungalows will be open to explore during the day.  

The Open Day is just one event in a varied calendar of activities that takes place at Quebec Hall including recently quiz nights with fish and chips, cream teas, themed meals and an art exhibition.

A faith offering shall be taken at the Open Day where all have opportunity to contribute towards the Hall's lift replacement and to the expenses of the day.
