Sell tickets online for Norfolk Christian events
If your church or organisation is hosting an event in the coming months, consider using Network Norfolk as a cost-effective way to sell your tickets online and help promote your event.
The e-ticketing service was set up over two years ago and tickets for sell-out events including Phatfish and Stuart Townend and thebandwithnoname at Norwich Cathedral have been sold via the website.
The service works best for events which have a wide appeal. In the last year, tickets have been sold for the Norwich Youth for Christ Gospel Choir concert in the cathedral and Rosemary Conley and Helen Shapiro events in Thetford.
One of the benefits of selling your tickets on Network Norfolk is that your event will also be promoted to our 10,000 plus unique monthly visitors and to over 2,300 people from the Norfolk Christian community who receive our weekly e-newsletters.
How the e-ticketing service works
Details of your event are advertised in the Network Norfolk shop: www.networknorwich.co.uk/shop
Your customers simply pay using a debit/credit card or a Paypal account and they are sent an e-ticket which they print off and take it with them to the event. There is no need to post tickets so money is saved in postage as well as administration time. There is a stock control system so you can keep track of exactly how many tickets have been sold.
Prior to the event we provide you with the number of tickets sold and reference numbers so these can be cross-checked on the doors.
There is an initial set up cost of £50 per event and a small percentage commission on each ticket sale (which is usually added to the ticket price therefore costing you nothing).
Helen Baldry, Senior Content Editor, said: “We’ve had good feedback from people who have already sold tickets through Network Norfolk. It’s saved them a lot of time and also helps them reach a much wider audience than if they were only selling the tickets through their church office or on the door.”
Richard Leggett who organised the Stuart Townend concert said: "I've found the Network Norwich team to be very helpful and flexible. Their ticketing system was well tailored to our event and when I've needed changes, they've been willing and quick to respond."
Tricia Elson, Youth & Children’s Administrator for the Diocese of Norwich, said: "We used the shop to sell tickets for thebandwithnoname event at Norwich Cathedral, last October. Regular promotion on the Network Norfolk website certainly increased sales and buying tickets was quick and easy. Helen and Keith were efficient, friendly, helpful and prompt in their handling of sales and queries. We will certainly use the online shop again.”
