Surrey Chapel to welcome new lead pastor to Norwich
Surrey Chapel in Norwich have announced that they will be welcoming Andy Rees from Worcester as new Lead Pastor at the start of May.
Andy is moving to Norwich from Worcester where he has been serving as Associate Pastor at Woodgreen Evangelical Church for the past six years.
Prior to that, Andy held ministry roles at St Ebbes, Oxford and St Helens, Bishopsgate and studied for three years at Oak Hill Theological College in London.
Andy is married to Grace and they have three little daughters, Tilly, Betsy and Vivi. Born in Wales, Andy says he is passionate about all things Welsh – rugby, music and love spoons! However there is no bigger joy for Andy than sharing Jesus from the scriptures with anyone and everyone.
A church spokesperson said: “We thank God that He has called Andy to work alongside our Pastor, Gary Ryan, to further God's kingdom in work at Surrey Chapel and in Norwich.
Gary said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming Andy to Surrey Chapel. As a Church we are growing and seeing God work in more and more lives. With Andy’s passion for reaching out, his addition to the team will enable us to share the Good News of Jesus in Norwich and the surrounding area.”
