Norwich church's contemporary eternal rebrand

EternityLogo3502010: A large Norwich church has relaunched itself with a new name and has embarked on a journey of renovation.

This week Earlham Christian Centre has rebranded itself as Eternity Norwich under the leadership of pastors Paddy and Jennike Venner.

The relaunch will include renovations to the church building with new technology and lighting and new-style services for the congregation of over 200.

Paddy said: “We are still networked with the Assemblies of God and EuroLead, and have embarked on a journey of renovation as a church. We laid out the vision at Advance, our quarterly leadership and volunteers meeting last week, where we spoke of the internal renovations we will do at the church on 171 Earlham Green Lane which will modernise our look and approach and increase our already significant footprint on the west side of Norwich.

“This entails purchasing new technology and lighting equipment, and more importantly a revamp of our services, which although already full, can do with greater excellence.

PaddyVenner“Eternity Norwich has been seating over 200 people every Sunday morning for the past couple of months and so we recognise the need for structural improvements and better quality presentation.

“Our extremely popular range of children’s clubs and holidays clubs will continue as normal and our jam-packed parent/toddler group is unaffected by the changes,” said Paddy.

The Sunday morning meeting is now called Massive and includes a Sunday Club for children up to age 12 and starts at 10.30am.

LifeCafe is the Sunday evening interactive café-style church which Paddy (pictured right) pioneered in Cape Town many years ago and which has been running at Eternity for the past five years. It will run every Sunday night instead of just once a month, with a varied programme ranging from live performance, contemporary Bible study and interactive church, a concept unique to Eternity from 6.30pm.
