2009: Pastor John Mulinde, an internationally-known speaker on Christian revival, will speak at a one-day Saturday conference in Norwich on Saturday, June 13, at Earlham Christian Centre., at .

John Mulinde’s (pictured right) message was born out great persecution of the church in Uganda in 1988. Undaunted, he and fellow church leaders “began to take God at his word” and the result was a transforming revival that has touched not only Uganda but other parts of the world that have heard the call to true discipleship, unity and integrity in critical times. “We are our message,” he says.

The importance and priority of the local church in God’s plan is also one of the main emphases of John Mulinde, who is the founder and director of the World Trumpet Mission.

WTMLogoHe and his international team aim is to be “a catalyst, with others, for transforming revival around the world,” relating closely with churches and ministries in many countries. Their scriptural mandate is based on Joel 2:1: “Blow the trumpet in Zion…for the day of the Lord is coming.”

Admission to the Saturday conference at ECC on Earlham Green Lane is free, but an offering will be made during the day. Registration is 9.30 for a 10am start, and visitors should bring a packed lunch, though light refreshments will be provided. The event ends at 4pm.

"We anticipate an inspiring day of worship, prophetic teaching and prayer," say the organisers. For more details, contact Philip and Jill Barker on 01603 810 148 or email JillBarker@uwclub.net
