Julian to speak on Jesus, lover of my soul
Surrey Chapel in Norwich is hosting a morning for those working in churches and Christian organisations on the theme of ‘Jesus, lover of my soul’. Andy Rees shares and invitation.
We’re aware that is been a spiritually difficult time for many in Christian leadership over the past 18 months, leaving us feeling spiritually battered and bruised. We wanted to provide a chance for us to be refreshed in the hope of Jesus and passionate love for his people, whilst also giving some space to connect with others.
We are part of group of churches who work together to run training events called Equip. We’ve organised this morning for Church and Christian Workers, with Julian Hardyman. He’s the Pastor of Eden Baptist in Cambridge. He has recently written a book on the Song of Songs called Jesus Lover of my Soul - fresh pathways to spiritual passion. He’s going to be giving a couple of talks on that.
It’s free, and people can book in here.
It’s from 10am to 12.30pm on Wednesday October 20 at Surrey Chapel, Botolph Street, NR3 1DU.
