Suffolk leadership course looks at God's purpose

The Prayer Foundation will be hosting the LEARN Leadership seminar on Friday and Saturday March 22 and 23, at The Barn in Mellis, Suffolk. The topic will be 'Preparing for Purpose.'

Rod and Julie Anderson from The Prayer Foundation say, "Discovering our purpose, brings clarity into our lives. Also, there are steps of preparation as believers, that can help us be far more aware of God’s “signals” to us as His children, that will awaken His pre-planned journey for our life.  Every believer sees far more clearly, when they become truly aware of their God-given purpose in life.  We want to share with you some of the areas that helped us so much, to be ready to respond when the Lord tapped us on our shoulders."

Rod and Julie Anderson will share six sessions which will help people along the way, whether you are new to the Christian faith, or more mature and sensing a call to ministry.  Priests in the Old Testament had firmly laid out instructions about preparing to approach God’s tabernacle and His presence.  Rod and Julie say this is a God give pattern there that will make us fit to approach God’s presence, and minister to God’s people.

Tickets cost is £90 per person which includes meals (lunch and supper on Friday, and lunch on Saturday), but not accommodation.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
