Michelle and Rod Smith, who have decades of experience equipping others in ministry, are leading a training day for the Norfolk School of Prophets on How to Mentor like Jesus.

On Saturday, February 16, 10am-4pm the Norfolk School of Prophets will welcome Rod and Michelle Smith who have, until recently, been Assistant Directors of Morning Star Ministries Europe and before that Pastors of the Glory Tribe church in Poringland.

Michelle Smith has been mentoring, training and equipping others for more than 20 years. She offers advice and coaching to individuals, churches, groups and businesses on wellness in spirit, soul and body. Michelle and Rod have recently moved back to Norfolk.

Michelle said: “Jesus began with just 12 faithful disciples and turned the world upside down. In Matthew 28:19 he tells us to ‘Go and make disciples of all nations’. What does that look like? How do we begin? And what is the mandate for our generation? Come and learn about the variety of ways we can be active in mentoring others.”

The event will take place at New Hope Christian Centre Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2HX.

Registration and coffee will begin at 9.45am.  Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided but please bring your own lunch.

The day costs £7.50 at the door and there is no need to book.

Do you appreciate our service and stories?

The Network Norwich & Norfolk website has been published for over 13 years now and we have an established team of professional journalists covering the activities, organisations and churches which make up the county’s Christian community. Our whole purpose is to support that community by daily providing accurate, unbiased stories and features.

To pay for that service, we rely on our partner organisations, advertisers and readers to, in turn, support us financially. We want to keep the website free for everyone to access and continue to be able to pay for writers to produce the content you can enjoy every day.

We would like to ask you to consider supporting our work and suggest you might want to make a small regular donation of just £1 a week and become one of our 100 Friends, or a larger one-off or annual amount.

Because we are part of a registered charity we can reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a tax-payer.
