Norwich Cathedral is advertising for the post of Marketing Manager. The post falls vacant as the current post-holder, who has held the post for four years, leaves to join the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Community of St Anselm.
 

The Cathedral’s marketing activity has developed significantly in recent years and forms an essential part of the organisation in terms of mission and outreach and engagement with wider and more diverse audiences. We now seek an innovative and enthusiastic individual to continue this progress.

 

Job Summary:

To support the Dean and Chapter in the formulation of a clear marketing strategy and to be responsible for its delivery, ensuring maximum exposure of the Cathedral to wide and varied audiences. To work proactively with all staff; providing a central resource of marketing, PR and communications to support them in the successful delivery of aims and objectives specific to their department. To be proactive in forward planning to ensure all services and secular events receive good publicity. To work in close co-operation with the Cathedral’s agencies and partners; developing good relationships with the media.

Contract: Full time 35 hours per week
Salary: £32,802 per annum
